Hello everyone!

I've been a bit (!) busy of late so haven't posted anything (and I haven't
got time to read all the postings :-( )

However, I've got one bit of news I want to tell everyone about (and I'm
almost screaming from the roof of the house here!!).

As some of you may know I chair a living history charity which portrays a
Royal Artillery group of around 1944. We have been badging up as the South
Notts Hussars (their second line regiment 150th) and some of you may know
that they still exist (despite the governments determination to wipe out the
TA on one hand
and mobilise them all on the other!!).

We have been talking to them for some time now and it is with great pride
that I can tell everyone that we now have official permission to wear their
badge. I'm sure anyone who has been in the services will realise the honour
this is - which is why I am shouting about.
