This extraordinarily arrogant comment seems to imply that shotguns
aren't really that dangerous. Unlike those nasty, evil .22 pistols used
by the Olympic team.

The one that gave the Dunblane murderer a firearms certificate against
the strenuous objections of the officer who interviewed him.
I have never met Mr. Truitt, but I am adult enough to understand his
posting was trying to point out the farcical nature of some UK
legislation. Rather like HRH Prince Philip's analogy to Cricket bats,
in fact.
I would have thought a reenactor of the AMERICAN civil war would
understand the culture of that nation a little better.
