Sir, how do you extrapolate the argument that a a solid ball or bolt
multi-shot weapon is more likely to kill than that from a single shot,
rifled or otherwise?
And do you think that the Anti-gun lobby, having succeeded in banning
more than one type of firearm will stop at that?

I presume your Springfield is smoothbored, and you do not use a rammer
in the loading sequence. You would outlaw the 7-shot Spencer that had
such a profound effect on the conflict?!? Not to mention the six shot
revolver carried by your officers and cavalry personnel? What period of
history pray do you represent?
Sorry, but I used to do the ACW myself, 20 years ago. I still use my
Sringfield RIFLE, Sharps and Army Colt in black powder competitions.
My 'dislike' as you put it, is the steady erosion of rights of the
British subject; one of the reasons the USA was founded in 1776
