So, let me get this right.
If Oren Truitt had something I could respect, like a Purple Heart or a George
Medal, then I would. Bragging about membership of these 'chivalric orders and
time-honored fraternal organizations' is probably not what these
organisations are all about anyway, I suspect.
I am ignorant of American culture and history, because I happen to disagree
with Oren's and Stuart's views on gun ownership, and their interpretations of
the Civil War.
Because I don't subscribe to the view that hordes of Spencer Rifle - toting
Dismounted Cavalry, Sharpshooters and jingling Cavaliers of the Custer mould
give an accurate portrayal of the Civil War as it happened, sorry, as they
would like to think happened, then I am not fit to be involved in Living
History.
I am not allowed to respond to inflammatory name-calling postings with
equally inflammatory postings, because I happen to disagree with aforesaid
postings and because I am not as highly educated or as socially
well-connected as Oren Truitt.
Only Oren himself is allowed to use and recognise sarcasm, and that anyone
else using it is labelled as 'ignorant'.
