No the press is not a primary source it is a secondary source.
I saw your reply this morning and thought I would try to help you out,
after 8min
on the internet I came up with the following.

Fort Purbrook Activity Centre (aka Peter Ashley Activity Centre),Fort
Purbrook,Portsdown Hill Rd., Cosham ,Portsmouth
Tel. (023) 9232 1223 Fax.(023)9238 2133
Development Officer Lyn Ashley.

The LRP group may be the Portsmouth Branch of Fools and Heroes as they have
used the site in the past, as mentioned on their web site. But I can not be
certain.

This was obtained using Alta Vista and an online BT enquiry service

via the press

I was unaware that NARes had produced a response, I have only seen a
response from yourself. Has it been considered by the Executive Committee
of NARes?

You and I both know that Re-enactment and LRP are not connected, but how
many people outside of these two hobbies know that? How many people in
government bodies ie HSE would lump together re-enactment and LRP as the
same thing. After all if as first reported the death was due to a blow to
the head from a shield, it could have easily been at a re-enactment show.
Just because it was at a LRP event it does not mean that it would not have
an effect on re-enactment.
