	Description : comments: 1,300 re-enactors camp on grounds occupied by the British in 1780-81 to celebrate Revolution’s worst Patriot defeat. Two battles, courts-martial, recreation of the Masonic funeral of Baron de Kalb, period crafts, Sutlers Row, guided tours of battlefield, viewings of a documentary on the battle. website:
August 27 - 29	Period : wwii Society : Twinwood Airfield Re-enactors Assoc. Event : Glenn Miller Festival of Swing, Jazz & Jive 2005 Location : RAF Twinwood Airfield, Clapham, Beds Email : alice@twinwoodevents.com
	Description : Held where Glenn Miller boarded his last flight. Glenn also performed a concert here 60yrs ago on 27th Aug 1944. Featuring many big-band orchestras & Jive bands, Hangar dances, jiving lessons, 40s fashion shows, militaria fair, WWII vehicles & re-enactors, 40s carousel, flypasts requested. Too much happening to mention here!
