Bannockburn, 31st August and 1st September 2002

Behind a man who turns up for a battle with a walking stick and a knife, we have a selection of crusaders and military orders. The white clothes and red cross are of the Templars, who were suppressed in almost all of Europe in 1306, including England, where Edward took advantage of their suppression to default on debts to them and to seize their property.
