Sweden 117 36 Tel : 46-8-849412 Fax : (m) : Email : alex@mensa.se | The Guild of st.Olaus, or Sankt Olofs Gille in Swedish, is a small re-enactment group focusing on the life of city-dwellers in Stockholm around 1471. This is a turbulent time in swedish history, an escalating conflict with Denmark eventually led to the battle of Brunkeberg 10th of October 1471. In that battle, many of the participants on the Swedish side under Sten Sture were in fact citizens of Stockholm. Thus, in this context we find both a military and a civilian aspect. |
